About

A fast, ARK‑centric trend switcher: own 2x ARKK in uptrends; flip to inverse ARKK/Nasdaq in downtrends. Uses an RSI “hot/cold” check and bond/volatility cues for brief hedges. Very aggressive, short‑term, and prone to whipsaw in sideways markets.
NutHow it works
Goal: ride big ARK-style growth waves; defend fast in downtrends. Each day it compares 60‑day trends of ARKK (ARK Innovation) vs QID (−2x Nasdaq). If ARKK wins → offense: usually TARK (2x ARKK). If QID wins → defense: SARK (−1x ARKK) or SQQQ (−3x Nasdaq). It uses RSI (0–100 “hot/cold” meter; >~70 = hot) and Treasury cues (BIL/IEI/IEF/TLH/SPTL) to avoid chasing extremes and, when choppy, briefly hold VIXY/UVXY (vol), UGL (gold), UUP/USDU (USD), or bond trades.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample shows ~38% annualized return vs SPY’s ~24%, driven by big ARK-style rallies. Expect strong upside in trends, but accept much larger drawdowns (~55% vs ~19%) and lower risk-adjusted metrics. Higher risk, higher return potential.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
