About

Rules-based, all-weather strategy: ride stock uptrends (often with leveraged tech ETFs), buy dips, add a volatility hedge when overheated, and pivot to dollar, gold, Treasuries, commodities, or inverse/low‑risk funds when trends weaken.
NutHow it works
Step 1: Trend check (price vs 200‑day average). Above = risk‑on; below = risk‑off. A moving average is the recent average price used to judge trend. Risk‑on: hold fast stock funds and buy dips. RSI is a short‑term speedometer: very high = overheated (add UVXY hedge); very low = washed‑out (buy). Risk‑off: rotate to UUP (US dollar), BTAL (market‑neutral), GLD (gold), Treasuries (TLT/IEF/TMF), inverse funds (SQQQ/SDS), or T‑bills. Also rotates into strong commodities and adjusts bonds as rates move.
CheckmarkValue prop
Rules-based, multi-asset strategy outperforms the S&P: ~45% OOS annualized return, Sharpe ~1.31, Calmar ~1.62, max drawdown ~28% vs ~19% SPY. Diversified hedges (dollar, gold, Treasuries, commodities, UVXY) manage risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
