About

A rules‑based, tech‑tilted strategy that rides uptrends with leveraged equity ETFs, buys dips when markets wash out, and adds crash hedges (volatility, dollar, gold, Treasuries, defensives or cash) when markets overheat or weaken. It also rotates bonds/commodities by trend.
NutHow it works
It watches a few simple gauges: trend (price vs its average), “hot/cold” (RSI: 0–100; >~80 too hot, <~30 washed out), and recent winners. If stocks trend up, it favors aggressive, tech‑heavy ETFs (e.g., TQQQ/TECL/UPRO). If they get too hot or roll over, it rotates to hedges like volatility (UVXY), the US dollar (UUP), gold (GLD), Treasuries, staples/utilities, or cash. A bond sleeve flips between long‑bond bull (TMF) and bear (TMV) as rates change.
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech‑tilted, regime‑switching strategy with crash hedges: out‑of‑sample annualized return ~45.36%, Sharpe ~1.31, Calmar ~1.62—delivering higher upside and structured downside protection versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
