About

A daily “switchboard” that flips between offense and defense using simple market gauges. In uptrends it leans into high‑octane stock funds (often 3x). In weak or jumpy markets it shifts to Treasuries, gold, dollar, utilities, or cash.
NutHow it works
Daily, it reads “health” signals: S&P 500 vs its averages, tech vs utilities, bonds vs cash, lumber vs gold, and whether inflation‑linked bonds are rising. If healthy: buy fast stock funds (e.g., TQQQ, SPXL). If not: rotate to safe havens (long Treasuries TMF, gold UGL/GLD, US dollar UUP, utilities XLU) or cash (BIL). RSI = a short‑term “heat” gauge; when very hot it briefly hedges with volatility (UVXY).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, ~35.7% annualized return vs 22.8% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.28 and Sharpe ~1.23. A daily regime-switching mix of leveraged equities and defensives targets higher upside with disciplined risk; note larger drawdowns in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
