About
A weekly strategy that prefers commodities when they’re strong, but otherwise shifts into a very aggressive leveraged tech/bond mix, with occasional defensive moves into gold, dollar, Treasuries, and volatility.
Each week, the strategy first checks whether broad commodities have been rising lately. If yes, it puts most money into the 2 strongest areas among gold, oil, agriculture, uranium, mining, timber, or long-term Treasuries, plus a steady holding in a broad commodity fund.
If not, it becomes much more aggressive: often buying TQQQ (a fund that aims for 3x the daily move of the Nasdaq-100) or spreading across leveraged tech, semiconductors, financials, and long-term bonds. If markets look stressed, it shifts toward gold, the U.S. dollar, Treasuries, and volatility-related holdings.
Out-of-sample Sharpe ~1.59 vs SPY ~1.40; OOS annualized return ~76.8% vs ~21.7%; Calmar ~2.17. Weekly rebalancing across commodities and leveraged tech/bonds targets far higher risk-adjusted growth than the S&P, with stress guards.
