A quarterly market-timing strategy that uses the bond market as its warning system, then rotates into either aggressive leveraged stock funds or defensive/inverse assets depending on conditions.

Every 3 months, the strategy first asks: are regular bonds doing better than ultra-safe Treasury bills? If yes, it goes into a high-risk mode and buys 4 aggressive funds that have recently lagged the most. If no, it moves into defense. It then checks whether long-term Treasury bonds look weak or strong. In a rising-rate setting, it mixes dollar strength with defensive or “profit-when-markets-fall” funds. In a falling-rate setting, it holds a mix of defensive stocks, Treasuries, and gold-related funds.
