About
Quarterly risk on/off switch: if broad bonds beat T‑bills, own the 4 strongest tech/mega‑caps; else own 4 oversold defensive/rate‑sensitive plays (and some cash when rates fall). Chooses using momentum and RSI.
Every quarter it checks: Did broad bonds (BND) beat 1–3 month T‑bills (BIL) over ~1 month? If yes (risk on), it buys 4 from a tech/mega‑cap list with the strongest 3‑month trend. If no (risk off), it asks if long bonds (TLT) lag T‑bills. If yes (rates rising), it buys 4 defensive choices with the lowest RSI (a hot‑vs‑cold gauge; low=oversold). If no (rates falling), it buys 4 weak performers from a bond/defensive list and keeps ~20% in cash.
Macro-tactically rotates between momentum leaders and oversold defensives with quarterly rebalances. Out-of-sample drawdown is 1.92% vs 2.53% for the S&P, Calmar ~6, and strong risk-adjusted gains, delivering steadier compounding than the S&P 500.
