A quarterly strategy that uses the bond market as a risk signal: in good conditions it chases strong tech/growth winners; in bad conditions it rotates into defensive assets like bonds, gold, commodities, dollar funds, and crash hedges.

Every quarter, the strategy first checks whether regular bonds (BND) are beating cash-like T-bills (BIL). If yes, it buys the 4 strongest recent winners, mostly tech/growth stocks and funds. If no, it turns defensive and uses bond, gold, dollar, commodity, and “crash hedge” signals to choose safer assets—or recently beaten-down defensive assets if falling rates may help them rebound.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers.
