About

Rule-based, daily strategy built around TQQQ/UPRO (3x stocks) with a standing UVXY crash hedge. It buys tech/growth in uptrends, trims or hedges when markets run too hot, and shifts to Treasuries, dollar, defensive sectors, or inverse ETFs during stress or rising-rate regimes.
NutHow it works
Each day the strategy checks: trend (is the market above its long-term average?), how “hot/cold” prices are (RSI: a 0–100 heat gauge), volatility spikes, and interest-rate direction. If trend is up and not overheated, it holds 3x stock ETFs (TQQQ/UPRO/TECL/SOXL). If hot/weak, it rotates to Treasuries, US dollar, staples/health care, or cash-like T‑Bills and may add a UVXY hedge. On sharp dips, it buys briefly, then resets.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~28.7% annualized returns vs ~16.5% for the S&P, with solid risk-adjusted metrics and a hedged 3x tech core. Higher upside, but expect larger drawdowns in crises.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
