About

A daily, rules‑based portfolio mixing tech (QQQ), gold, and long Treasuries with tactical hedges (UVXY/SQQQ). It uses trend and hot/cold signals to flip between leveraged long, short, or cash‑like assets.
NutHow it works
It’s a daily rules-based mix of 4 sleeves: - Gold: switch between UGL (2x gold) and GLL (-2x gold) using trend and “hot/cold” readings (RSI = recent speed of gains/losses). - Bonds: toggle TMF (3x long Treasuries), TMV (3x short), or BIL (T‑Bills) by trend/RSI. - Hedge: use UVXY (VIX) or SQQQ (3x short Nasdaq) when markets look stretched; otherwise BOND. - QQQ: ride uptrends in QQQ/TQQQ; rotate to XLP (staples) or VBF (bonds) in stress.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~2.96 vs 2.54, Calmar ~9.10, drawdown 5.59% vs 6.33%. A diversified, rules-based sleeve strategy (QQQ, gold, bonds, volatility hedges) seeking steadier, lower-risk upside—more resilience than the S&P 500, even with slightly lower raw returns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
