About

A daily, rules-based mix of four sleeves: Nasdaq‑100 offense, gold trend flips, Treasury trend flips, and a short/hedge sleeve. It buys strength or washed-out dips, parks in staples/bonds when overheated, and uses inverse/volatility ETFs for protection.
NutHow it works
It blends 4 sleeves and rebalances daily: 1) Gold: flips between 2x long gold (UGL) and 2x short gold (GLL) using trend and “heat” (RSI). 2) Bonds: rides or shorts 20yr Treasuries (TMF/TMV), sometimes parks in T‑bills (BIL). 3) Short/Hedge: mostly bonds (BOND), but uses UVXY/SQQQ on extremes. 4) QQQ sleeve: owns Nasdaq‑100 in uptrends or on big dips; otherwise hides in staples/bonds. RSI = 0–100 heat gauge; MAs = trend lines.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this four-sleeve strategy targets higher returns with lower risk than the S&P 500: annualized ~60% vs ~50%, Sharpe ~3.49 vs ~2.38, Calmar ~10.8, and drawdown ~5.6% vs ~6.3%. Diversified trends + hedges aim for steadier growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
