About

Daily, rules-based rotation across gold, oil, bonds, emerging markets and especially tech. Uses trend and a 0–100 “heat” gauge (RSI) to buy dips and ride strength; hedges or goes defensive when overheated or weak. Heavy use of leveraged ETFs; high risk.
NutHow it works
A daily rule engine rotates among ETFs: tech/Nasdaq (TQQQ, UPRO), Treasuries (TMF long, TMV short), gold (UGL long, GLL short), oil (UCO/DBO long, SCO short), nat‑gas (KOLD), EM stocks (EDC/EDZ), volatility hedges (UVXY/VIXY), and defensives (XLP, BOND, BIL). It uses trend filters (price vs average price lines) and a “heat” gauge (RSI, 0–100: high=hot, low=cold) to buy dips, ride strength, or hedge/go defensive.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy aims for higher upside with risk control: 36.28% annualized return vs SPY's 31.57%, Calmar 2.38, diversified hedges. Expect higher volatility but potentially stronger long-run gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
