A fast-moving, multi-part trading system that rotates among leveraged bets on tech, bonds, gold, oil, and volatility, trying to buy sharp dips, fade extreme rallies, and hide in safer assets when conditions worsen.

This strategy splits money across several mini-strategies that trade gold, bonds, emerging markets, oil, and especially tech stocks. It checks each day whether prices have risen or fallen unusually fast and whether trends are up or down. After sharp drops, it often buys; after sharp rallies, it may hedge, short, or move into defensive assets like short-term Treasury bills, bonds, or consumer staples.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
