About

Tech-tilted, daily-rebalanced strategy that rides Nasdaq strength with 3x funds, hedges when markets are overheated, and shifts to inverse or bond/income ETFs when risk rises. Signals: long-term trend and short-term overbought/oversold (RSI).
NutHow it works
Splits the portfolio 80/20 into two tactical sleeves. It checks a long-term trend line (200-day average) and a short-term “too hot/too cold” gauge (RSI). When tech isn’t overheated, it rides the Nasdaq 100 with TQQQ (3x). If markets look overheated, it switches to SOXS (bearish semiconductors). When weak, it may use PSQ/SQQQ (inverse Nasdaq) or move into bonds/income ETFs (TLT, IEF, TFLO, FBND, XYLD, SVOL) based on recent momentum. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~48% annualized return vs ~27% for the S&P, Calmar ~1.67, Sharpe ~1.16. Tech-tilted, adaptive hedges target big upside in tech rallies while managing risk; note drawdowns can be higher (~29%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
