About

Daily, rules-based trend and heat gauge: ride strong tech/crypto in uptrends, buy deep dips, and when things get too hot, flip into volatility hedges. In downtrends, hold inverse QQQ with bond/factor signals; uses KMLM to refine risk-on/off.
NutHow it works
It first asks: is the S&P 500 (SPY) above its 200‑day average? If yes, it rides strong, fast movers (mostly big‑tech/crypto 2–3x ETFs) and buys dips when RSI (a 0–100 “temperature” of recent moves) is low. If prices look overheated (RSI ~80+ on major indexes), it flips into UVXY (volatility) plus cash/BTAL. If SPY is below the 200‑day, it holds inverse QQQ (PSQ/SQQQ) with bond/factor cues. KMLM (managed futures) helps judge trend vs tech.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this rules-based strategy outperformed the S&P 500 on risk-adjusted returns by riding tech uptrends, dip-buying, and hedging heat with volatility/anti-beta assets—delivering more upside with less downside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
