About

A fast‑switching, rules‑based strategy that rides uptrends with leveraged tech, times bonds, gold, oil and emerging markets, and hedges with cash or volatility when markets overheat or weaken. High potential returns, high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily, it checks trend (price vs typical levels), “heat” (RSI: how fast it’s risen/fallen), and turbulence (volatility). If calm and rising, it rides growth via leveraged stock ETFs like TQQQ. If stretched or falling, it shifts to T‑Bills (BIL/SHV), long/short Treasuries (TMF/TMV), gold (UGL/GLL), oil/EM, or volatility funds (UVXY/VIXY). It can also use KMLM (managed futures) for diversification.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 4.42 vs SPY 2.61; oos return ~75% vs ~32%; beta ~0.49 (lower market risk); Calmar ~14.34. Higher risk-adjusted upside with similar drawdown to the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
