About

A daily, rules-based strategy that pushes into 3x Nasdaq when conditions are favorable, moves to defensive stocks and bonds when they aren’t, and in turmoil can go to cash or use volatility/inverse tech hedges.
NutHow it works
Daily, rules-based. First asks: calm or storm? It uses a volatility ETF’s “heat meter” (RSI) to flag storms. In calm times it buys a 3x Nasdaq fund (TQQQ) when trend is up or on small dips; otherwise it holds low‑vol S&P 500 stocks (SPLV) plus core bonds (AGG). In storms it shifts to cash‑like T‑bills (BIL/SHY), sometimes buys sharp selloffs, or uses crash hedges (UVXY/SQQQ/SOXS). Trend, stretch (RSI), big drops, and bond signals drive switches.
CheckmarkValue prop
Captures Nasdaq upside with dynamic 3x exposure, paired with defensive stocks and cash, plus crisis hedges. Out-of-sample annualized return ~35.8% vs S&P ~22.6%, with disciplined risk controls despite deeper drawdowns in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
