About
A mostly cautious strategy that holds bonds and some Nasdaq-100, but tries to aggressively buy sharp tech-market dips using a 3x leveraged Nasdaq fund.
The strategy watches the Nasdaq-100 through QQQ, which holds big growth companies like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Nvidia.
If QQQ falls more than 4% over 4 trading days, it treats that as a “dip” and usually buys TQQQ, a fund that aims to move about 3x as much as the Nasdaq-100 each day. If TQQQ already jumped more than 5% in a day, it avoids chasing the rebound and moves to BSV, a short-term bond fund.
If there is no big dip, it stays more defensive: 60% BSV and 40% QQQM, another Nasdaq-100 fund.
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets Nasdaq upside via tactical dip-buying with bond ballast. Annualized return ~33.8% vs ~17.6% for the S&P; Sharpe ~1.47 vs ~1.38; Calmar ~3.61—delivering stronger, risk-adjusted growth.
