A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A cautious, tech‑tilted, leveraged trend strategy. It rides tech in calm, stock‑led markets (often with a T‑bill cushion), buys tech dips or shorts extreme pops, and otherwise parks in cash or rotates among Treasury trades to limit drawdowns.
NutHow it works
It’s an on/off switch plus a short‑term tech overlay. When markets are calm and stocks look stronger than short‑term bonds, it rides tech using TQQQ (often 66% TQQQ + 34% T‑bills to soften swings). If not, it shifts to cash or Treasury trades. A “Yes Pops” layer buys tech on big dips (RSI low) and shorts brief spikes (RSI high).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 21.6% annualized vs 20.3% for the S&P, with a built-in risk guard (50/50 main engine + Yes-Pops) that blends tech upside with Treasuries ballast. Higher return potential with disciplined risk, though drawdowns can be larger in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
