About

A high‑octane, rules‑based swing strategy that buys dips in 3× tech/semis funds during uptrends and flips to shorts, Treasuries, or volatility in downturns. Uses trend (price vs average) and a simple hot/cold meter to time entries. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
It checks big trends: is Nasdaq/tech/semis/S&P above long averages? If yes, it buys dips in 3× bull funds—TQQQ (Nasdaq‑100), TECL (tech), SOXL (semis), UPRO (S&P)—usually the one that just fell most (lowest “heat” score, a 0–100 recent‑move gauge). If a crash/down‑trend, it uses SQQQ/PSQ (short Nasdaq) or TLT (long Treasuries). When overheated, it may short semis (SOXS) or buy volatility (UVXY/VIXY).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy beats the S&P 500 on risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ~1.14 vs ~1.05) and targets higher upside (about 83% vs 18%), via tech/semis rotation and adaptive hedging. Drawdowns can be larger in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
