About

Aggressive, tech‑centric switcher: rides uptrends with 3x bull funds (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL), buys dips when oversold, and flips to protection—short QQQ, long Treasuries, or volatility—when Nasdaq/tech/semis/S&P lose trend or get overheated. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Goal: ride tech-led uptrends, cut risk fast in selloffs. 1) Check long-term trend: are the Nasdaq (QQQ), tech (IYW), semis (SOXX) and S&P 500 (SPY) above their moving averages? If yes → offense. 2) Offense: buy 3x bull funds (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL), often the most “oversold” by a momentum gauge called RSI (low RSI ≈ oversold; high ≈ overbought). 3) Defense: if trends break or RSI is extreme, switch to shorts (SQQQ/PSQ), Treasuries (TLT), or volatility (UVXY/VIXY).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: higher risk-adjusted returns and bigger upside than the S&P. Sharpe ~1.12 vs 1.04, Calmar ~1.23, and annualized return ~79% vs ~18% for SPY. Uses active risk controls to ride tech uptrends while protecting on dips.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
