About

Rules-based, tech‑trend strategy that rebalances daily. Rides Nasdaq uptrends with leveraged ETFs, buys oversold dips, and flips to hedges (inverse Nasdaq, bonds, gold, dollar, energy) when trends break or inflation/rates spike. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it decides the market’s “mode” (uptrend, dip, sideways, crash, recovery) using trend (price vs 200‑day avg), RSI (0–100 “heat” gauge), recent returns, and volatility. It then: - Uptrends: ride tech (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL), sometimes short vol (SVXY). - Dips: buy oversold. - Crashes/sideways: hedge/short (PSQ/SQQQ) or move to bonds (TMF/TLT), gold (GLD), dollar (UUP), energy (ERX/GUSH/DIG). Sized by volatility; rebalances daily. Key tickers: QQQ=Nasdaq 100; TQQQ=3× QQQ; PSQ/SQQQ=short Nasdaq; TMF/TLT=US Treasuries; GLD=gold; UUP=dollar; UVXY/VIXY=long VIX; SVXY=short VIX; TECL/SOXL=levered tech/semis; ERX/GUSH/DIG=energy. Very high risk due to leverage/vol ETPs.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~94% vs SPY ~28%; Calmar ~4; Sharpe ~1.85. Rules-based trend-rotating strategy favoring tech in uptrends and hedges dips/inflation—aiming for meaningfully higher upside than the S&P 500 with disciplined risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
