About

Daily rules-based tech strategy: ride TQQQ/SOXL in uptrends; switch to bearish or safe ETFs (SQQQ, SOXS, UVXY, T‑bills/bonds) when markets overheat, drop, or volatility spikes. Uses trend, RSI (stretch gauge), volatility, and rate regime to adapt.
NutHow it works
Goal: ride tech uptrends, cut risk fast in selloffs. It mostly holds TQQQ/SOXL (3x tech/semis) when the S&P 500 is above trend. If prices look overheated or fear jumps (RSI = an overbought/oversold gauge; UVXY = volatility fund), it flips to hedges: SQQQ/SOXS, UVXY, or T‑bill/bond ETFs. In broad downtrends it checks rates with TLT: rising rates -> TMV + bears; falling rates -> TMF + safer picks. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Strong out-of-sample edge: OOS annualized return ~68.9% vs S&P ~20.9%; Sharpe ~1.04; Calmar ~1.29—solid risk-adjusted upside. Note larger potential drawdown (~53% vs ~19% for S&P). Strategy targets tech rallies with downside hedges.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
