About

A daily, rules-based rotation among leveraged ETFs. It rides tech-led uptrends, buys sharp selloff bounces, and uses volatility and bond tilts for defense, guided by a long-term trend filter and a short-term “heat meter” of recent gains/losses.
NutHow it works
Each day it does three things: (1) Looks for extremes. If the Nasdaq‑100 looks very hot, it briefly buys a “fear” fund (UVXY). If any target looks washed out, it buys that for a bounce. (2) Checks trend: is the S&P 500 above its 200‑day average (long‑term trend line)? If yes, it prefers aggressive tech (TQQQ/SOXL/SSO). If no, it rotates to safer or short choices (SPY, PSQ, TMF) based on a 10‑day RSI “heat meter” of recent moves.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return 17.2% vs SPY 14.7%; levered, tech-driven rotations with hedges target stronger upside in uptrends. Calmar ~0.40; max drawdown ~42%—higher risk during declines, but historically greater growth capture.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
