About

Daily rules to own 2x Nasdaq (QLD) in uptrends and hide in Treasuries or inverse Nasdaq (PSQ/QID) in downtrends. Buys 2x tech (ROM) on sharp oversold dips and takes profit to bonds when markets get overly hot.
NutHow it works
Goal: ride tech rallies, cut risk fast in selloffs. It watches trend lines (20/200‑day) and RSI—a short‑term 0‑100 “hot/cold” meter (under 30=cold, over 80=hot). Risk‑on: own 2x Nasdaq (QLD) or the stronger of QQQ vs semis (SMH)/2x semis (USD). Very cold: buy 2x tech (ROM). Too hot or downtrending/deep drawdowns: move to Treasuries (TLT/IEF/SHV) or inverse Nasdaq (PSQ −1x, QID −2x). Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~56% annualized returns vs SPY ~22%, with Calmar ~1.74. It blends big upside with risk controls (Treasuries/inverse ETFs), but expect higher drawdowns (~32% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
