About

Daily, tech‑heavy strategy for the Nasdaq: ride uptrends with 2x Nasdaq (QLD), cool off in Treasuries when overheated, and hedge or short (PSQ/QID) in downtrends. A second sleeve adds short‑term switches between QQQ, cash‑like Treasuries, and hedges.
NutHow it works
It rebalances daily using two sleeves (about 30% and 70%). It checks trend (is the market above/below its average) and a short‑term “hot/cold” meter (RSI = flags when prices are stretched). In uptrends it rides Nasdaq with leveraged funds (QLD, ROM). If things look overheated it parks in Treasuries (TLT/IEF/SHV). In downtrends it hedges with inverse Nasdaq (PSQ/QID) or bonds, and sometimes favors semis (SMH/USD).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~57.5% annualized return vs ~22.5% S&P, Sharpe ~1.43, Calmar ~1.78. Higher drawdowns (~32% vs ~19%), but dynamic Nasdaq tilt with hedges aims for superior risk-adjusted compounding over time.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
