A fast-moving strategy that makes aggressive bets on Nasdaq/tech when trends are strong, but shifts into bonds, cash-like funds, or bearish Nasdaq funds when markets look overheated or weak.

This strategy is an aggressive market-timer built around big bets on the Nasdaq and tech stocks. Most of the time, if the market trend looks healthy, it buys QLD, a fund that tries to deliver about 2x the daily move of the Nasdaq-100. If tech has fallen sharply very recently, it may buy ROM, a 2x technology fund, to bet on a rebound. If stocks look too hot or risky, it moves into Treasury bond funds like TLT or IEF, or even cash-like SHV. When the market looks weak, it can bet against the Nasdaq using PSQ or QID, which go up when the Nasdaq falls. In short: it tries to press hard on tech when conditions look good, and hide in bonds/cash or turn bearish when conditions worsen.

Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers ~56% annualized return vs ~21% for the S&P, Sharpe ~1.37 and Calmar ~1.73, with agile shifts to bonds/cash when risk rises—offering substantially higher upside while maintaining disciplined risk controls.
