About

A fast, daily, tech‑heavy strategy: ride 3x Nasdaq/tech in uptrends, hedge or go short when markets overheat or fall, and pivot to managed‑futures (KMLM/DBMF) in choppy times. Uses simple trend and overbought/oversold signals.
NutHow it works
Each day it tries to ride big‑tech uptrends with triple‑leveraged funds (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). If prices look “too hot” (RSI: a 0–100 gauge of how stretched price is) or spike, it hedges with VIX funds or moves to cash. If momentum turns down, it flips to bearish Nasdaq funds (PSQ/SQQQ). When stocks chop, it can switch to managed‑futures funds like KMLM/DBMF (trend‑following in commodities/rates/FX). A 200‑day trend filter guides bull vs bear mode.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~8.9% annualized, 21% max drawdown, Calmar ~0.42 (Sharpe ~0.42) vs SPY's ~27.8% return, 5% drawdown, Sharpe ~2.29. Adds diversification, hedging, and a managed-futures overlay to smooth risk and complement a core S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
