About

Daily tactical system: checks the S&P 500’s 200‑day trend, uses RSI extremes to flip between volatility (UVXY), short Nasdaq (SQQQ), biotech dip‑buys (LABU), and a top‑3 mega‑cap momentum basket. High risk, fast‑moving, and very active.
NutHow it works
1) Trend filter: if SPY (S&P 500) is above its 200‑day average, it’s risk‑on; otherwise risk‑off. 2) If things look “too hot” by RSI (0–100; >70 hot, <30 washed‑out) on SPY/XLK/VTV/VOX, it buys UVXY (a volatility fund). 3) Else it reacts to QQQ (Nasdaq‑100): after big 5‑day drops it may use SQQQ (3× short) to fade bounces or buy LABU (3× biotech) if deeply oversold; if no dip, it holds the top 3 recent winners from a mega‑cap list. In risk‑off it rotates among UVXY/SQQQ/BSV by RSI; LABU only on deep oversold.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return 32.8% vs S&P ~20.2%, with higher drawdowns (~35% vs ~18.8%). Fueled by mega-cap momentum, biotech exposure, and volatility hedges—more upside potential, but higher risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
