About

Daily tactical switcher: presses 3x growth in healthy trends, flips to VIX hedges/shorts when markets overheat, and retreats to gold/treasuries/USD/cash in stress. Uses BND vs BIL and BDRY to gauge regime, with dividend and rotation overlays. High risk/active.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks market “heat” with RSI (a price-speedometer: high=hot/overbought, low=washed‑out), a bond-vs-cash test (BND vs BIL), and a shipping proxy (BDRY). • Uptrend: buys 3x growth (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL). • Too hot: shifts to volatility funds (VIXY/VXX; if extreme UVXY/UVIX) or shorts. • Stress: parks in gold/treasuries/USD/cash (GLD, IEF/TMF, UUP, BIL/SHV). Also runs a “Battleship” leader-rotation and dip-buys; sizes some trades by inverse volatility.
CheckmarkValue prop
This strategy aims for stronger upside with adaptive hedging. Out-of-sample annualized return ~36% vs ~29% for the S&P, driven by regime-switching to growth, hedges, and safe havens; higher potential with some drawdown risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
