About

A daily, rules‑based “heat gauge” system that flips between VIX hedges when markets run hot, dip‑buys in leveraged tech/semis when markets wash out, trend‑following baskets when neutral, commodity hedges when DBC trends, and cash/inverse if risk spikes.
NutHow it works
Each day it reads simple “heat gauges” of price speed (RSI: 0–100; high=overheated, low=washed‑out). - Very hot: shift into “fear” trades (VIX funds: VIXY/VXX/UVXY/UVIX). - Very cold: buy rebounds (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL, etc.). - Normal: a “Battleship” picker chooses strong trends (SPY/QQQ/commodities). - If commodities trend (DBC): add GLD/SLV/USO. If risk spikes: move to T‑bills (BIL/SHV) or inverse (SQQQ/SPXU). BDRY acts as a risk‑on switch.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, rules-based rotation seeks big upside with built‑in hedges. Out-of-sample annualized return: ~97% vs SPY ~34%, aided by VIX/cash hedges and BDRY risk switching. Higher drawdowns in crashes, but potential for stronger long-run growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
