About

A daily, high‑octane, risk‑on/risk‑off system. It rides strong trends in stocks/commodities, buys sharp tech/semis dips, and flips into volatility funds or cash when markets look overheated. Uses 2–3x and VIX funds, so swings can be large.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks “hot/cold” gauges (RSI = a speedometer of recent ups/downs from 0–100; high=hot, low=cold) on the market (SPY/QQQ), tech/semis, banks, retail, and a shipping index (BDRY). - Hot/overbought → buy crash insurance (VIX funds that jump when stocks fall). - Cold/oversold → buy fast tech/semis funds (often 3x). - In between → hold the strongest trends (stocks, gold/commodities) or sit in T‑bills. Rebalanced daily; very aggressive.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~51% vs SPY ~29%, with Calmar ~2.8 and Sharpe ~1.2—strong risk-adjusted upside. Expect higher drawdowns (~18%) in volatility, but dynamic hedging/rotation aims to protect and profit across regimes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
