About
A daily, rules‑based swing strategy: buys sharp tech dips, fades overheated rips with quick shorts/UVXY, and otherwise rotates using bonds‑vs‑tech and volatility‑income signals. Uses leveraged and VIX funds; very active and aggressive.
Daily, it checks market stress via fast Nasdaq drops, how “jumpy” SPY/QQQ are, and VIX moves. RSI = hot/cold gauge (oversold <30, overbought >80). In stress, it either fades big 1‑day pops with brief tech shorts (SQQQ/TECS or UVXY) or holds the calmer of long tech (TQQQ/TECL) or short‑VIX (SVIX). In calmer times, it compares bonds (AGG/BND/TLT/IEF) vs tech (QQQ): if bonds lead, hold the calmer pick; otherwise use a vol‑income mix (SVOL + hedges). Dip/rip rules buy sharp dips or short rips. Rebalances daily.
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~20.3% annualized return vs ~19.1% for the S&P, with lower max drawdown (15.9% vs 18.8%) and a Calmar ~1.28. It offers stronger upside with disciplined risk across regime shifts.
