This strategy checks every day whether the Nasdaq-100 (QQQ) has fallen hard over the past week. If it has, it buys TQQQ, a turbocharged fund that aims for about 3x the Nasdaq’s daily move. But if TQQQ just jumped more than 5% in a day, it backs off into very short-term Treasury bills (BIL). If the Nasdaq is not in a sharp dip, it switches into a diversified portfolio of U.S. stocks, value stocks, top-performing sectors, commodities, gold, the U.S. dollar, managed futures, and short-term government bonds.
