About

Daily “buy the dip” in either Nasdaq 100 or S&P 500 using 3x ETFs (TQQQ/SPXL) after a 5‑day drop >5%. Skip entries after a >5% one‑day pop. When no clean dip, hold conservative bond funds (BSV, MUB).
NutHow it works
Each day the strategy looks for a sharp 5‑day drop (>5%). - If the Nasdaq 100 (QQQ) dipped, buy TQQQ (3x Nasdaq) unless TQQQ jumped >5% today; if it did, only buy SPXL (3x S&P 500) when SPY also dipped and SPXL didn’t jump >5% today—else hold bonds (BSV+MUB). - If no Nasdaq dip, but the S&P 500 (SPY) dipped, buy SPXL unless it jumped >5% today; else bonds.
CheckmarkValue prop
Distinct risk-managed strategy diversifying from the S&P. OOS: ~15.7% annual return, Sharpe 0.73, max drawdown 22.8%, beta ~0.61. Dip-triggered 3x ETFs with bonds for risk-off protection—aims for resilience and diversification.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
