About

Daily “buy the dip” in Nasdaq‑100 first (TQQQ) or S&P 500 (SPXL) using 3x ETFs, but skips days already up >+5%. Otherwise parks in bond ETFs (BSV, MUB). Very volatile, short‑term tactical approach.
NutHow it works
Each day: If Nasdaq‑100 (QQQ) fell >5% over 5 days, buy its 3x fund TQQQ—unless TQQQ already jumped >+5% today; then check S&P 500. If S&P 500 (SPY) fell >5% over 5 days, buy its 3x fund SPXL—unless SPXL already jumped >+5%. If no qualified dip (or big rebound), hold BSV/MUB. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Low-beta, dip-driven strategy adds diversification to SPY: ~0.61 beta, positive OOS alpha, and a defensive bond sleeve. Seeks steadier risk-adjusted returns and diversified exposure versus the S&P 500 in volatility spikes.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
