A tactical strategy that buys strong trends in stocks, bonds, commodities, and defensive assets, but switches to special “dip-buying” or defensive moves when tech or the market looks unusually stretched.

This strategy first checks whether the market—especially big tech—has moved too far, too fast, using a 10-day RSI (a speedometer of recent buying vs. selling). If tech looks overheated, it turns defensive: 50% UVXY (a volatility fund that often rises when stocks panic) and 50% XLP (everyday consumer-goods stocks). If tech looks deeply sold off, it bets on a rebound with 100% TECL, a very aggressive technology fund. If the broad market looks sold off, it splits 50/50 between UPRO (an aggressive S&P 500 fund) and XLP. Otherwise, in normal conditions, it ranks a mixed basket of stock, bond, commodity, gold, dollar, and energy funds by their roughly 150-day trend and buys the top 4 equally.
