About

Two equal sleeves “buy the dip” in U.S. stocks. If SPY or QQQ fell >10% over the last year, that sleeve switches to TQQQ (3× Nasdaq‑100) to bet on a rebound; otherwise it holds SPY and QQQ. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
The portfolio is split into two equal halves and checked daily. - Half 1 watches the S&P 500 (SPY). - Half 2 watches the Nasdaq‑100 (QQQ). If the index a half watches is down more than 10% over the past year, that half buys TQQQ (a fund aiming for 3× QQQ’s daily moves) to “buy the dip.” Otherwise it holds SPY or QQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers ~26% annualized return vs ~22% for the S&P, with stronger risk-adjusted metrics (Sharpe ~1.18, Calmar ~1.52) and comparable drawdowns, by leveraging Nasdaq-100 dips.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
