About

Default: 50% SPY + 50% QQQ. If either is down >10% over the past year, that half switches to TQQQ (3× Nasdaq). If both are down, it goes 100% TQQQ. Rebalanced daily; very high risk when leveraged.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks 1‑year returns for SPY (S&P 500) and QQQ (Nasdaq‑100). For each: if it’s down more than 10%, it buys TQQQ (a 3× version of QQQ); otherwise it holds SPY or QQQ. The two sleeves are 50/50. If both are down >10%, it’s 100% TQQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~28.6% annualized return vs ~23.9% for the S&P, with higher risk-adjusted Sharpe (~1.21) and Calmar (~1.67). Rule-based, dynamic exposure aims for stronger compounding while capturing dip-driven upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
