This strategy is a fast-moving trader. Each day, it checks whether different markets look strong, weak, overheated, or washed out. It splits money across 3 ideas: 1) hedges like long/short Treasury bonds and gold, 2) commodities like oil, gold, metals, and natural gas, and 3) aggressive bets on tech, biotech, or Bitcoin. When trends look healthy, it leans in. When markets look too hot or too weak, it shifts to defensive holdings such as very short-term Treasury funds.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
