About
A highly aggressive, rules-based portfolio that jumps between broad U.S. stocks, semiconductors, bonds, crash hedges, and bearish funds based on market trend, fear, and short-term price extremes.
This portfolio is a collection of very aggressive trading systems.
Most of them first ask: Is the U.S. stock market healthy or stressed? If healthy, they buy stock funds—often leveraged ones that can move 2x or 3x as much as the market. If stressed, they rotate into safer bond/cash funds, defensive sectors, or funds that rise when stocks fall.
Several pieces focus specifically on semiconductor stocks, using quick rules to buy dips, fade extreme rallies, or hedge with bearish funds.
Aggressive, tactical strategy posting ~32% out-of-sample annualized return vs ~22% for the S&P, with lower beta (~0.78) and Calmar ~1.11. Likely higher growth from hedges/semis, but expect larger drawdowns (~29%).
