About
A rules-based, high-octane portfolio that leans into semiconductors and major indexes with 3x funds when trends are favorable, buys dips/sells spikes, and flips to bonds, dollar, or volatility hedges when markets wobble or panic.
It’s a rules-based trader. First, it checks the market’s trend and fear. If the trend is up and volatility is calm, it leans into growth using 3x funds. If fear jumps or the trend weakens, it shifts to bonds, T‑bills, the US dollar, or volatility hedges.
Its main “engine” trades semiconductors (SMH): it buys after sharp drops or when they look oversold, and trims/shorts after big spikes or when they look overbought. If semis are below their long-term trend, it gets defensive.
Out-of-sample: 42.7% annualized return vs 23.4% for the S&P; Sharpe ~1.36 vs 1.38; beta ~0.71; Calmar ~1.48. Higher drawdowns ~28.8%, but hedges and disciplined risk management target higher upside and resilience.
