About

A multi-regime, leverage-aware portfolio that switches between aggressive, bear, and volatility-driven baskets. It uses RSI and moving-average signals to select assets (SPY/QQQ, SMH, and levered/hedged funds like UVXY, SPXL, SQQQ) and applies layered hedges (BIL, SHY, UUP) to align with market mood and volatility.
NutHow it works
Think of this as a multi-mode trading plan that decides which game to play depending on how the market feels. It uses simple signals (RSI and price trends) to pick a regime, then buys a mix of ETFs to fit that regime. In calm bullish times it favors leveraged bets on broad indices (SPY/QQQ with 2–3x exposure) to capture upside. When volatility spikes or momentum looks extreme, it deploys hedges (UVXY, SQQQ, SPXU) and safe-bond or dollar-positioning (BIL/UUP/SHY) to protect capital. Across layers, it also chases sector bets (like SMH for semiconductors) with rules for which assets to pick (Bottom 1, Top 1, etc.) and how to weight them. The strategy constantly tests various conditions: RSI thresholds, moving-average comparisons, and price vs. 200-day lines to decide whether to hedge, tilt long, or rotate into bear/volatility baskets. The result is a set of regime-specific portfolios that change over time, aiming to profit in strong trends while limiting losses in drawdowns. Important: this uses levered and inverse ETFs, which are high-risk and not suitable for all investors, and requires active management.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
