About

A rules-based, high-octane portfolio that leans into semiconductors and major indexes with 3x funds when trends are favorable, buys dips/sells spikes, and flips to bonds, dollar, or volatility hedges when markets wobble or panic.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules-based trader. First, it checks the market’s trend and fear. If the trend is up and volatility is calm, it leans into growth using 3x funds. If fear jumps or the trend weakens, it shifts to bonds, T‑bills, the US dollar, or volatility hedges. Its main “engine” trades semiconductors (SMH): it buys after sharp drops or when they look oversold, and trims/shorts after big spikes or when they look overbought. If semis are below their long-term trend, it gets defensive.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
