Each day it asks: have inflation‑protected Treasuries (TIP) beaten normal Treasuries (IEF) lately? If yes, it puts 70% into an inflation‑defense mix that trends into recent winners (SPY, TLT, GLD, DBC, UUP, SHV), adds extra gold, shifts to staples or a defensive basket when markets jumpy, and may use TMV (rises when long Treasuries fall); 30% stays in SHY. If not, it parks in Treasuries (TLT/IEI/IEF).
