About

Aggressive, daily-tactical Nasdaq-100 strategy. Buys TQQQ on strength or deep dips, shorts QQQ when rallies look tired or momentum breaks, and occasionally buys UVXY at extreme euphoria. Uses simple “hot/cold” signals; very high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks simple signals on QQQ. RSI is a 0–100 gauge of how fast price has risen or fallen (high = “hot,” low = “cold”). A short moving average is a quick trend line (price above it = rising). Using these plus the last 2–3 days’ move, it either: buys TQQQ (3x long QQQ), shorts QQQ (PSQ/SQQQ), buys UVXY (a volatility pop bet), or parks in BIL (cash-like). Hot: ride or fade; Cold: buy dips; Neutral: quick momentum/regime check.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, a Nasdaq-100 tactical approach seeks strong upside (OOS ~25.5%/yr) with risk controls (Calmar ~0.98, Sharpe ~0.71). Beta ~1. Higher drawdowns than SPY, but potential alpha in regime shifts and tech rallies.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
