A market-timing strategy that chases stock gains with leveraged S&P 500 and tech funds, moves to T-bills when conditions look weak, and uses UVXY when markets seem overheated or panicky.

This strategy tries to act like a cautious version of an aggressive stock bet. If the market suddenly gets very jumpy, or looks overheated after a fast run-up, it buys UVXY, a fund that tends to rise when fear spikes. If not, it checks whether the market is in a healthy uptrend. In good conditions it buys UPRO, a fund that magnifies S&P 500 moves. In weak conditions it often hides in BIL (short-term Treasury bills). In downtrends, it only buys on sharp oversold dips, mainly through leveraged stock funds.

Out-of-sample: 18.32% annualized return vs SPY 14.67%, Sharpe 0.57 vs 0.90, max drawdown 43.6% vs 18.8%, Calmar 0.42. A risk-managed, trend-following system with higher long-run growth potential, but more volatility than SPY.
