This strategy mostly tries to ride whichever big tech stocks are strongest, but only when markets look calm. If the tech-heavy Nasdaq market (QQQ) has dropped hard in the last 10 trading days, it switches to a “defensive” mix of gold, the U.S. dollar, long-term Treasury bonds, and a small amount of leveraged stock funds. If Nasdaq looks okay but long-term bonds are falling hard, it also goes defensive. Otherwise, it puts 80% into the 3 strongest recent names from a list including Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Nvidia, Tesla, and Meta, and 20% into a volatility-balanced side mix.

Out-of-sample: 25.6% annualized return vs SPY 21.1%, beta ~0.88, Calmar ~1.31. Higher risk-adjusted growth, capturing tech rallies while providing defensive ballast in drawdowns, with better long-run upside than the S&P 500.
