About

A 3-part, daily-rebalanced, bond‑signal strategy. If bonds show stronger momentum than bearish stock ETFs (and SPY’s trend is healthy), it buys growth stocks. Otherwise it goes defensive with staples, cash‑like T‑bills, or inverse S&P; tech may be bought on deep dips.
NutHow it works
Three equal-weight, daily-rebalanced “mini-systems.” Each compares bond momentum vs bearish stock ETFs using RSI (a 0–100 momentum score; <30 = very weak). If bonds look stronger and SPY is above its 200‑day average, it buys growth stocks (QQQ/XLK/SPY). If not, it shifts to defense (XLP, cash‑like SHV, or inverse SH). It may still buy tech on deep dips (QQQ RSI10 < 30).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: annualized return 17.11%, max drawdown 17.85%, Sharpe 0.99, Calmar 0.959. SPY: 22.21% return, 18.76% drawdown. A 3-module, daily-rebalanced strategy seeks growth with downside protection and smoother risk-adjusted gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
