This strategy checks the bond market and the stock market every day, then picks from a small menu of investments. It uses bonds mostly as a “market mood” signal, not as the thing it actually buys. If conditions look favorable, it often buys tech stocks or the broad U.S. stock market. If conditions look worse, it shifts to consumer staples, very short-term Treasuries, or even a fund that rises when the S&P 500 falls.
