About

A rules-based, bond-led switch. When bonds act stronger than ‘short stocks,’ it buys stocks (often tech) if the market is trending up. Otherwise it moves to staples, cash-like Treasuries, or shorts the market, with occasional oversold tech bounce plays.
NutHow it works
It splits money into 3 sleeves. Each asks: are bonds looking healthier than a “short stocks” fund? (measured by a 0–100 momentum gauge called RSI). If yes, it buys stocks—often tech—when the market is above its long-term trend (SPY over its 200‑day average). If not, it hides in defensive stocks (XLP), cash‑like Treasuries (SHV), or even shorts stocks (SH). If tech is very oversold (low RSI), it may buy XLK for a rebound.
CheckmarkValue prop
A bond-led, rules-based risk switch that rotates into tech, defensives, Treasuries or shorts. Out-of-sample, it offers lower drawdowns, lower beta, and solid risk-adjusted returns vs SPY, with upside when bonds signal risk-on.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
